They only let emergancy people's hours carry over. like connie, she's going through so many breast cancer tests that not only are her hours are allowed to carry over, she's allowed to bring FAMILY in to help.. so 2 people doing a 5 hour day.. she gets 10 hours for it.

Well, considering her situation that does sound fair, and I mostly say this because my aunt had cancer and the cemo she was getting she was actually allergic to, so she became sick really easily because of it. So I can understand that being allowed in her case.

I was working when it started snowing for me, and on my way home the cars in front of me were driving like snails. And because of that and I didn't have any extra weight in the back of my car, going slowly I was sliding occasionally. x'D When I was going a little faster it was fine. ^^;

I'm pissed off that welfare didn't give a damn though. Dude.. She might have breast cancer, and she has to go through all these stressful tests and you still want her to work 60+ hours.

Last year, back in April, i was sick the WHOLE month. Fevers and Coughing.. -I never really puke when I get sick, unless I cough so hard that it rattles my stomach enough like it did back in September- I had a dr excuse and everything. We told welfare and they were all 'she should have had her hours in by now, if she doesn't she gets 0 food stamps' and it was like.. Hey, sick ALL month. I stayed home at the beginning, hoping that if I rested and drank OJ and ate soup it would go away. It DIDN'T.

Welfare does not care.

Well if we get stuck cleaning that building again, i'm going to the health department. =/ I've had headaches and coughs since last week.. and I even wore a face mask

Have you been also bundling up to keep warm? A building in that kind of condition would probably also have massive drafts in them. And yes, if you are made to clean it again in cold health I'd report them and inform them that after working in the building you also started feeling sick (headaches and coughs) because feeling sick and having a headache with it is usually how I know I'm getting a sinus infection since I don't normally get headaches. :/

You have to wear warm clothes there. the second floor on up is FREEZING @-@ some parts of the first floor as well.

it's the mold that made me sick. ono the headache wasn't a sinus one.. sinus ones are normally closer to my eyes and on the front of my head. this one is on the left side of my head too far away from the sinus hate headaches.. i don't normally get them

Then yeah, the combination of the mold and cold are making you sick then. And I take it you have mentioned something to the people in charge? I'd be very concerned if I were them because some molds are toxic to humans.

The person in charge is Paster Chris (PC we call him) He refuses to hear our complaints. His daughter who is our supervisor doesn't like sending us up there to clean but, not only is he her father, he is her boss and he gets the final say. And she's been upset lately because everyone is taking it out on her, and there really isn't anything she can do about it.

We'll be moving into a new building... eventually =o= who ever knows when it'll happen.. and when it does happen it'll just be more stress and pointless things going on and more drama .. more of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.. shit like that.. PC isn't very organized

The worst part is, he has some of the guys in the program LIVING in that building to protect it.

I'd call first thing in the morning, even more so with that last bit of information. What with how the weather has been and the health problems there that can KILL the people living there.

SPEAKING of that place.. I work 6 days a month. That's all I need. This month they were closed 3 days so they gave us those hours. All 3 days we got free 9-4 (7hrs) so that put me at 21. I worked Wed 11th, Thurs 12th, and Tues 17th.

I worked 6 hours, 5 hours, 6.5 (we got send home early and they put us down as leaving at 4PM they do that when we get sent home early)

what does that all add up to you guys? for me it comes out to 38.5 hours. I only need 37 hours a month.. so how in the heck are they saying I am at 31.5?! grrrrr!!!!!!

Maybe it wasn't recorded by the person in charge?
Also...eeks...I still think it could be reported to a different department's/group's health inspector or something.

We write these things in ourselves. the only way a day would be missed if it was one of the 'free' days, which is what it looks like. no matter how i add the it up, its one of the 7 hours (free) days that are missing..

this is why i do my own time sheets and stuff. and if they pay me for days off then i get paid and i notice... any i only get paid if my boss tells the accounting people to give me my hours that day... usually he says its ok like holidays and snow days so far

You probably have to contact someone and have them vouch for you or something about those hours. Other than that I'm not really sure. :/ I don't know how that would work for you.

the last 2 days were 'free' days. the mission was closed so they gave people the hours for those days.

ITS ALL FIXED! On my paper it said 33.5hours NOT 31.5 and that meant someone missed my 5 hour days xD I got it cleared up with cait <3

I'm gonna try the PCB replacement. I have a WD 40GB hard drive that has the same model PCB as the 250GB that holds my manga so score! just gotta wait for my special screwdrivers >o<

I know the PCB works works on this other drive because the drive shows up and stuff on the pc and runs perfectly. So I just need to use that to put on this drive, then if it works, copy everything over. -I might forget the Doujinshi.. I only liked the gravitation and a few FMA Doujinshi and those are easy to get back-

I cleaned off my one other HD to prepare my stuff for the move. if anything, after I save some shit, i'll move it off this one and onto another until I get my new hard drive. sux having small hard drives =/

mom is getting me a 1TB <3 HUGE upgrade from the 250GB that is dying/dead.

THE WHOLE TIME that the drive actually ran today i was able to save 1 manga volume. =/ ONE! I chose Detective Conan V 1 =w=


after i get everything moved, the drive is a dud so i'm gonna hit it with a wrench too just to relieve stress <3
