Lol. Having a lot of late nights? I get that way when I've been staying up too late and sleeping late the next day. If it weren't for the calendar on the wall in our living room, I'd never be able to keep up with what day it is. >w<

Sounds like an interesting concept. I don't think I'd have the patience to sit down and calculate the hours between today and events A,B,C, etc. I get too into countdowns, lol.

Mind if I ask what's bringing you to that conclusion?

A) Work is paid/recorded in hours.
B) Different classes/courses run differently with due dates, so a "daily" schedule does not work as well.
C) My sleep/wake/work schedule make no sense on a daily measurement, and doing so causes undo stress.

While they are adorable, I'm afraid of them up close, for whatever reason, lol. I want a hamster again... Or maybe a ferret. Ferrets are such interesting little critters. So spunky.

Ferrets are great but they are super stinky! I was going to get a Guinea Pig, but I don't know if I can afford it.

Awww. We had one as a class pet when I was in fifth grade! She was sooo sweet!

I had two hamster a few years ago, and they were fantastic. They hated each other, but as long as you kept them apart they were as sweet as could be. One was a ninja though. Unless you had her cage basically superglued together, she'd manage to find a way out. It was crazy.

I personally have a border collie / aussie mix. But I live with two other chihuahuas and a talking parrot.
My whole life though - I've had rabbits, hamsters, all kind of birds, tortoises, a turtle, a little brother...

Lol @ the little brother. From what I've seen most younger siblings are animals. Though, I've mostly dealt with sisters. I'm an only child, but most of my friends had younger sibs, and they were quite bratty, lol. My son's wanting a rabbit, but my hubby keeps vetoing it. He's worried about what happened to him (being scratched and having a scar on his arm) happening to our son. He'd rather get a ferret. >.<' I personally don't think a ferret would be much safer, lol.

And chihuahuas! My mom has 2 right now. They're such funny little animals.

Yup, when he was a little boy, and apparently it scarred him for life (mentally and physically).
*shrugs* I dunno. From the way he's described it to me, it doesn't seem like all that traumatic of an event, but it was for him.

Well - when you are younger it seems like more happened... thus the trauma.
