I'm not sure if it'd change if I was a well adjusted member of society. Or if that's what stops me from becoming one.
|
That makes 2 of us. Or at least similarly.
Similarly is a weird word. |
I think it's one of those words I'd have trouble saying irl. I mean definitely rolls of the tongue, but the words with r... why
|
Does it have to do with rolling your Rs? If you're used to it, it can be weird when it's not rolled? I still don't know how to do it properly.
|
Yeah, it's a very distinct English thing (maybe I should try the fancy british accent all the time) and I tend to misplace the r when I talk so it goes Sirmirlaly |D
|
You could try a fancy Texan accent. Hmm, would a hybrid British-Texan accent be similar to Australian?
|
Hehe you should record something and let me judge it.
I'd never use it for blackmail later. |
Noooo no no. I don't mind having an accent, but I've always been self-conscious of my voice.
|
Whyy! I'm sure it's lovely!!
I hate my voice. It's deep in a weird way. |
Mine is deep too, and mumbly.
You'll have to have another Texan pronounce pecan the right way. |
Is there a wrong way to pronounce pecan? xD
|
I doubt it. It's one of those words that gets pronounced differently depending on the dialect. But everyone prefers to assume their way is the right way. But since it's the state tree, our way is more correct.
|
Ah, of course xD
Is it pee-cahn or pee-can (as in soda can) |
Uhh, hmm. Pee-cahn might be the accepted way but I say it more like peh-cahn. Or maybe I switch between the two. Like caramel. I say both care-uh-mel and car-mull.
|
So in that map of US where they have 3 and 2 syllables you're in two places at the same time? xD
Or if they ask, do you say with 3 or 2 syllables, you answer yes? |
Wait...so is that the secret to teleportation?
