Ah, nice. I have homework that I need to finish before I can go home tonight... >.>
|
This paper was minor, but it was still frustrating. It's on the Cold War and the domestic and foreign policies.
Good luck on your homework though!!! |
Gah, history. I am not a fan.
And thanks! I'm kind of stumped as to what I'm supposed to do for a small part of it... |
I'm a history major (with a possible English Minor).
What kind of homework is it? |
*pokes thread* I haven't been here in a while. XD How is everyone? |
I'm goood. c: Kind of tired. Restless too. xD Yourself? ^^ |
About the same. Haha. I'm so ready for school to be over. XP The weekend is finally here! ^-^ Do you have any plans?
|
hello everyone ( ยด ▽ ` )ノ
|
@ Kali - Lol, you and I are clearly opposites. I never cared much for history or English XD
I'm in astrophysics. I was doing GR (General Relativity) homework. @ Numb - Hi there! =D I'm doing alright; contemplating taking a nap. No plans for the weekend other than homework though sadly. What are you up to? |
Welcome to Trisphee Adagio! :3
In other news, you guys all have lovely avatars ~ |
thanks c:
i'm already starting to get addicted to this site i think XDD and thanks <3 you have an awesome avvie too * // * |
Miharu - >.> Hello. Did you/are you going to take a nap? Homework? Meh. Have fun. XD I'm in class at the moment. ^-^ You?
Adagio - Hello tehre! ^-^ Ginger - So do you! Your wolf appears to have an appetite for butterflies, though. XD |
No problem! n__n Yes it does get addictive, especially when there is an event or when new items come out!!
Thank you :) I will be changing her sometime today if I can come up with something I like (I'm picky and it can take me up to an hour to actually decide xD) |
Numb - Hehe yes he does! He's just chasing them through the meadow, catching them in his mouth ^^
|
I hope so. Butterflies aren't very tasty. *coughcough*
>.> I just paper cut my wrist with my textbook. XD |
But they're fun to play with xD And oh noes! *band-aids your battle wound*
|
Thanks Ginger!
@ Numb - I laid down and did nothing for a while, so I'm a little refreshed even though I couldn't get to sleep. Neh, homework sucks. I'm at home, trying to decide what to eat for dinner tonight, even though that's another hour or two away. Ouch. I managed to break a glass when I was doing dishes earlier today, but managed to not cut myself, thankfully. |
I haven't broken a glass in a while, but I almost did the other day when I was making popcorn.. made my heart skip a few beats lol
|
Oooh, any ideas for dinner yet? :D
Lucky you. XP I'm a klutz when it comes to things like that. Broken glass? I'mma end up pouring blood. XD Apparently, paper causes bloody desks. >.> Nothing is safe! |

Plans for this weekend, hmm. o3o Tomorrow is my baby shower. ^^ After that is taking everything home, going through stuff and all. xD Then, umm. I dunno, probably just the baby shower. xD |
@ Ginger - I'm pretty sure that it's been over a year since I last broke a glass. I'm usually not very clumsy, but my fingers slipped today and accidently banged one glass into another pretty hard. Fortunately, the one glass (my favorite!) was fine, and the other one that I didn't care so much about was the one that broke XD
@ Numb - I ended up having some of the tri-colored pasta stuff for dinner. Skilled me! I'm good at avoiding injury in most cases. But my mom is like you - if there's broken glass, she's going to cut herself, and usually pretty deep so it bleeds like crazy. @ Allurcore - Aww, your baby shower isn't a surprise? |
@Miharu; What you mean isnt a surprise? :3 |
Hey guys, what's up? :D
|
Ohhhh a baby shower! I have only been to one in my life but that was a long time ago and I hardly remember it lol.
Miharu - A favorite glass? I have a favorite of everything but xD I'll have to find me one of those.. hehe. Hey momo! How are you this fine 3 in the morning :D |

I got caught up looking at Hot Topic stuff! Wow only 8? Well.. 9 now :P
I'm going to this highlighter blacklight party next weekend and shopping for brightly colored things that I'll be testing under my blacklight before I actually go 8D |

I tried lol.. I'm really into bright neon colors right now :3
|
@ Allurcore - Traditionally, the mother-to-be wouldn't know about the baby shower in advance; it would be a surprise party.
@ Ginger - Yeah. Like, most of my cups are just regular glasses, but I have too that are more like clear glass mugs, with designs and handle, and I love those two. They're my favorites. I was holding one of those, and I was glad it didn't break. The one that broke was just a plain glass. @ momo - Good morning! I just woke up. What are you up to? |
I don't see how a baby shower would happen if its a surprise. Cause the mother to be has to do registry's. And for games have to get her belly measured and answer questions for games, so. I don't see how anyone can pull it off as a surprise. xD Unless people make it a surprise for some and have NO games and people get things that the mother to be doesnt want. I got alot of stuff I wanted from my registry. :3 Anyway, it was good, till then end. >3> |
Usually the shower is coordinated by someone like the mother-to-be's mother or sister, or a close friend.
I believe this person will usually inquire as to the gifts the mother-to-be wants in order to do registries. Naturally, this person can also ask about belly size and such, although there is also obviously the possibility of games that don't require such information. I know times are changing, and this kind of thing doesn't matter so much anymore, but that's the traditional way. |
Oh. xD I didn't know that. I never been to a baby shower that was a secret to the mommy to be, even back when I was a small kid myself. :3 |
Hmm... I don't think I've ever been to one myself, but I've known of my mom going to a couple and talking about them. And then when she heard of someone a few years ago who knew all about her shower beforehand, she went on a rant about how untraditional it was. I kinda see how it might be easier to know about your party in advance, but I think surprises are more fun. >.<
|
I'm going to be 20 this month and Ive been going to baby showers since I was six. xD None were surprises because the mother to be would be the first one there besides the host. :3 Maybe some areas are different. :3 |
Baby showers are soooo fun...until they're a surprise to the mother in law...That's when it's HILARIOUS!!!
|
Ooo, when's your birthday? =D
Lol, maybe that's it. Here, younger kids usually aren't brought to baby showers either. XD I'm from upstate New York, so... Either way, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that you enjoyed it. |
How is everyone today?
|
Meh, ups and downs. How are you?
|
Hey Kali n__n I'm doing great! How about you?
Baby showers should definitely be a surprise for the mom-to-be, in my opinion :) It makes the mother feel special after having to carry a fetus around for 9 months. |
I'm doing fairly great. Just got on for the first time in like 3 days or so and I get to see the new RDI's and facial things that I've got to buy!...OH goodness!!!
