Ah I have that with coral sometimes. Old coral was uh not lighter, but softer? So the hairs don't match perfectly and I can't mix-match everything.

At least with time, we'll have more and more commons to pick from.

mdom 09-04-2018 05:11 PM

That's true. I like how we always have new stuff.

the gradients for coral haven't changed. what you're seeing in instances like that is a difference between having the original greyscale file for an item and having to rip a new one from the uploaded versions that have lost detail from the first pass through and will lose more the second time through.

Biomecha 09-04-2018 07:37 PM

I need to use coral and special soon, somehow. And Galaxy.

That's good to know them having to be ripped. It helps with understanding how things work.

mdom 09-04-2018 08:09 PM

Hm, I'll just nod and pretend I understood what that tecnical talk meant.

Biomecha 09-04-2018 08:31 PM

It might be too much psychedelic jello for you.

I know I was born to be pretty, not smart *flips rainbow hairs*

Says the linguistic genius. Why not both?

mdom 09-05-2018 10:16 AM

I'm no genius!! Just had a lot of free time in my youth!!

The corals also vary in how bright/dark they are based on how much shading the item has. It makes them fun to do but also kind of a nightmare. D:< but some items with the coral coloring have like really dark shading and then bright spots which make them look like they are like say blue with pink highlights? uh there are some shiny jeans that show that really well.

I'm not very good at capturing the full fun of the corals yet though ._.

Biomecha 09-05-2018 04:25 PM

mdom: It's much better than what I did with mine, which wasn't anything useful.

Glitch: That seems to be the nature of gradient maps, right? Especially if they are multi-color.

mdom 09-06-2018 12:08 AM

Hey, useful is just a word. Is classic greek useful?? Not at all.

That's why I love the corals, Glitch! So shiny o3o

Biomecha 09-06-2018 02:39 PM

It can be with the ways it teaches you to think.

mdom 09-07-2018 02:24 PM

it's just a party trick
someone 'x is suck a weird word'
me 'it's because it comes from greek'

Biomecha 09-07-2018 03:22 PM

That actually sounds like something Daria might say. But it's kind of like that imposter feeling though?
