Hmmm....not bad. Impressive.

I've actually taken to eating smaller meals throughout the day. Seems to work better most of the time.

Espy 08-28-2013 01:28 AM

Well, imagine 80-lb me back in 7th grade eating three slices of pizza.

But most of the time, I don't feel like eating too much. Occasionally, I still need to remind myself, but I'm getting better at knowing my limits >.>

Alpha 08-28-2013 01:19 PM

O_O
Well, that would be quite impressive.

Yeah, that sounds about like the first year of college into the second year to me...that was mine a bit at least. Thankfully I didn't have an unlimited meal plan so I couldn't just eat all the time.

Tiva 08-28-2013 01:22 PM

He wanted to though.... Hyjin would eat like five plates of food per sitting.

Espy 08-28-2013 02:04 PM

I'm acutally on real money this year and not freshman money, so I'm doing my best to not spend too much.

Tiva 08-28-2013 02:07 PM

Yeah real money sucks... *hates being poor*

Alpha 08-28-2013 02:32 PM

Yeah....the meal plan money and whatnot is nice to have. At the same time (though it requires more thought) using real money comes out cheaper...for the most part.

Espy 08-29-2013 12:09 AM

Meal plans give you a sense of getting something out of it, more than paying with cash (or pre-loaded id cards, for me) does. I'm not sure if that makes sense? Like...I don't feel like I'm wasting so much as long as I eat a decent chunk of my meal, and don't let slip more than one or two meal blocks per two weeks. But...in real money, two meal blocks would be $16 or $18, and if I dropped a twenty down the drain, I'd freak out much, much more.

Alpha 08-29-2013 12:12 AM

Understand completely. That's basically my view on it. Makes you think about it a lot more than just using a "block meal" or two as the situation stands.

Tiva 08-29-2013 12:13 AM

I never used block meals after my freshman year.

Alpha 02-11-2014 06:04 PM

*rumbles around in the back, trying to find something to eat or drink*

Espy 02-11-2014 06:09 PM

Hey hey, careful around back there... Also, it's polite to ask.

...If you're really that hungry, there are a few stale loaves of bread in the cellar. Don't touch the moonshine, though.

Alpha 02-11-2014 06:15 PM

Moonshine? *perks up with tail wagging* Where is it? WHERE?! *dashes around knocking stuff over*

Espy 02-11-2014 07:13 PM

....Upstairs. Pull out Volume D of the encyclopedia on the bookshelf, then slide the shelf over. Go down the ladder; the stuff under the floorboards.

Though, if anyone raids, I'll know who blabbed.

Alpha 02-11-2014 10:08 PM

*heads upstairs and does as instructed, nearly squealing with delight at the stock* Yes, awesome...YES!

Espy 02-12-2014 01:22 AM

Don't take too much; it didn't come cheap.

Alpha 02-12-2014 01:24 AM

*glances over shoulder and shoves some in random pockets* Expensive you say? Well now...

Espy 02-12-2014 01:26 AM

-rolls eyes and picks at a few notes on a fiddle-

All liquor's expensive, especially when you have...competition.

Alpha 02-12-2014 05:18 PM

Oh, aye it is...especially for a speakeasy.

Fauxreal 02-15-2014 02:27 AM

*saunters in, fringe dress swishing*

I heard this place was the cat's pajamas!? Anyone here ready to serve a dame some giggle water?!

Alpha 02-16-2014 03:40 AM

*glances at then looks around* Well dame, I don't seem to see any sort of serving around...maybe I can rummage something up.

Fauxreal 02-16-2014 10:50 PM

Swell. I think a Gin and Tonic sounds lovely!

Alpha 02-17-2014 08:31 PM

*knocks bottles around and pulls out some Gin, Tonic water, and a lime and starts to mix*

Fauxreal 02-17-2014 09:36 PM

Thanks handsome, I was wondering if you could let a lady know if there is fabulous entertainer around here? I've been told my singing is hotsy - totsy!

Alpha 02-17-2014 09:46 PM

Not that I'm aware of. Seems to be in a bit of disrepair....

Fauxreal 02-18-2014 02:26 AM

*looks around* Wow. I guess your right. *walks over to the piano to dust it*

Alpha 02-18-2014 04:28 AM

*pulls out a duster and some rags* Perhaps these would help...

Fauxreal 02-18-2014 06:39 PM

*saunters over to the pile of cleaning supplies* Sure!

State the obvious, why don't'cha?!

*feather dusts Alpha's nose*

Espy 02-18-2014 06:49 PM

Holy balls, sorry guys, the past few days have been hell. It feels like I haven't had a weekend for three fucking weeks. Mech E project...you'd think two mech e professor could schedule their shit so that everything's not clumped into two weeks, yeah?

Also, hey, I'm sensitive to dusts. Careful with that.

-grabs a rag and wipes down the piano-

Fauxreal 02-18-2014 06:51 PM

*skips over to Espy*
No troubles - bubbles! Chill out ~ We can whip this place into shape!

*feather dusts Espy's shoulder*

Alpha 02-19-2014 04:03 PM

Well, I have been called Sir Obvious from time to time.

Yeowch...that's gotta be rough Espy. *hands a cloning kit* Would this help any?

Fauxreal 02-19-2014 04:15 PM

Well that is the cat's pajamas! *stares at cloning kit*

Alpha 02-19-2014 04:28 PM

Umm...yep! (Totally can't talk like that...)

Espy 02-19-2014 05:07 PM

-eyes the cloning device suspiciously- I'd rather not.

-plinks out a few notes on the piano-

(To be honest, I should spend some time playing the piano when I free up my schedule.)

Alpha 02-19-2014 06:12 PM

Aww...but having a clone is so useful. Understand the suspicion though...

That you should, especially if you enjoy it!

Fauxreal 02-19-2014 09:46 PM

It takes a different mindset to change the attitude into swishing the night away. <3

And - you have to be careful with the clones.

Alpha 02-19-2014 10:01 PM

Well, definitely do have to be careful...if you give them too much then they'll try to kill/replace you. Don't want that to happen, no sir-e!

That it does.

Fauxreal 02-19-2014 11:25 PM

Exactly sugar-plum.
Those clones will try to take over... like those crazy 'Single white female' types.

*grabs her feather duster and swooshes across the bar*
*cough cough*

Oh my giddy aunt...

Alpha 02-19-2014 11:26 PM

I'm laughing at this and I'm not quite sure why.

Fauxreal 02-19-2014 11:34 PM

*winks*

Sometimes you just need a giggle.
