I've never been a dog person. I love cats and guinea pigs. I have a lot of cats. My actual baby boy is a 16yr old orange and white diabetic male named Elijah. :)

Finally got around to adding a couple things to decorate my room. My stepsister's stuff is still around on the walls though she's moved out. She still has stuff in here. Doesn't phase me. I just add my stuff on the walls and use the holes she already put in the walls :P

Getting really pissed at people..

Back in March we let a cat in our apartment because he's friendly it was raining and snowing.. After it cleared up we had to put him back out because of apartment rules.

The landlady took him in, got him fixed and adopted him out to one of the other tenants. Well.. last night.. we found him outside. this poor thing had been abandoned again. not only that but he doesn't have claws.. either they cut them WAY too short (cause that flesh that you see on the claws is still there) or the vet did a TERRIBLE declawing job. but he has NO claws and they left him outside.

I'm against declawing! it causes too many problem. Physical and behaveral.

Mom picked Hiro up (its what we been calling him)and he FREAKED out. Last time we had him back in march, he didnt act like that. I picked up a stack of sailor moon manga to take in my bedroom.. he backed away from me, ears back and all, scared of me as though i was gonna hit him with the books!

So not only was his claws trimmed wrong/declawed wrong he was abused in some way..

:( Why would someone do something like that to an innocent kitty? I could never understand why someone would be so cruel.

:( I don't clip my cat's nails. He does it himself just fine, he keeps his claws the way that works for him. Heck, we never did. The only animal we clipped their nails were the guinea pigs because they need it. But then I have no patience to do it myself for the cats.

I trim Zeke's claws but i don't butcher them D: if you cut too far you cut the blood veins ;-;

Yeah, we accidentally did that to our guinea pigs sometimes when we would cut theirs :(

according to the lady *she took mom to the store* the VET cut his nails like that D<

The vet did that? O.o That's not right.
The poor kitty. Hope he gets better and such soon.

Trying to get myself out of here (middle of nowhere). My boyfriend's brother said something to my bf about thinking about getting me today so Mike (boyfriend) wouldn't have to when he got off work at 6.30p.

That poor little baby kitten! I don't understand how some people can just abandon animals like that. Manhandling his claws like that is dangerous because of the infection risks, too. Are you going to keep him this time?

We had Marshmallow de-clawed in the front when he was a kitten when we had him neutered because we decided he was going to be a strictly indoor cat. This was about ten... maybe twelve years ago. We were sure to use that special newspaper pellet litterbox stuff when we had it done, and we gave him lots of affection.

mom is determined this time to keep him. we got all his stuff from the lady who had him this time.

I don't mind neutering them since it keeps them from spraying and marking their territory... but i don't support declawing.

I'm all for spaying and neutering. I like how at most places they don't adopt out the kitten before they're fixed. I always worry about spraying and such.
Oh I will never declaw. I will adopt the kitty that is because their previous owner was a meany, but I would give them an awesome life like all of my kitties. ^^

Good, I'm glad you guys are keeping him. He deserves an awesome life with people who love him and won't abandon or abuse him.

I just hope the landlady wont throw a fit .. she's nice but she'll get in trouble if the owners of the place find out she let us keep 2 cats ><

Hopefully it'll be ok. I wouldn't want you guys to have to do something like remove him again because of the rules.
