The entire story as a whole is just ish. There really is no story. >< It's all random fighting and guys who need to lay off the steroids. xD

Yuki 08-27-2010 11:36 AM

LOL exactly. Their muscles don't even look realistic. Not very sexy...

Sam 08-27-2010 11:37 AM

Nope, they're the farthest from realistic. >< There IS a thing as TOO buff... >>

Yuki 08-27-2010 11:38 AM

Yes. >_> It just looks nasty like...how the hell do they move their arms so freely?

Sam 08-27-2010 11:41 AM

No idea. With how big their arms are they should move like a tank or charger in Left 4 Dead. xD It's awkward looking.

Yuki 08-27-2010 11:41 AM

x_X I liked the series until Goku grew up though. He was chubby as a kid but more normal.

Sam 08-27-2010 11:43 AM

At least he looked like he could move normally. xD Then it was ok. Now it's ridiculous.

Yuki 08-27-2010 11:44 AM

Yeah...it could have happily ended at half of the books.

Sam 08-27-2010 11:46 AM

Yep, but oh well. Nothing we can do about it now that's it's done with. xD

Rumiel 08-27-2010 11:51 AM

Well there's always fanart and fanfics.. :P

I wonder if someone did a thin nonmuscley Goku if he'd even be recognizable (well except his hair..)

Yuki 08-27-2010 11:51 AM

Yeah I think it started in the 80's xD

DB doujinshi is often liked by those who like they BARA muscle men so they are very muscle ish. :/

johnny 08-27-2010 11:53 AM

For some reason, the musculature on Dragon Ball characters always made me think they were really short with muscles. Like, 5'0 and 200 lbs of muscle.

It's freaky. :<

Yuki 08-27-2010 11:54 AM

Yeah, anabolic.

Sam 08-27-2010 11:55 AM

Yeah they always looked really short to me. xD

Yuki 08-27-2010 11:57 AM

I think Goku is 170 CM ish as an adult.

Rumiel 08-27-2010 12:00 PM

Maybe it's a world where all the characters have that muscle building disease?
