I'm never thriving.
the lamp from the living room died, and my dad made me go get another IMMEDIATELY
then I went there to change the lamp like a grown up
AND SO MANY BUGS WERE IN THERE
I'M NEVER CHANGING LAMPS AGAIN

Is it like a dome that covers it? So that you are gifted with a bowl full of bugs? Ready for snacking.

mdom 12-01-2018 08:49 PM

It wasn't even that type! I'd be prepared!!!

can you see the holes in the green part? the insects were there!!!!

Biomecha 12-01-2018 09:19 PM

Package them and sell them in vending machines. That's what the museum here did.

3 dollars wouldn't pay my emotional trauma of having dead creatures down my cleavage D:

Biomecha 12-01-2018 10:44 PM

Are you trying to start a new trend? Instead of body glitter...bugs.

mdom 12-01-2018 10:48 PM

Do you want me to have nightmares? D:
if only they sparkled and weren't such a dull color

Biomecha 12-01-2018 10:56 PM

Maybe those metallic beetles will work. Oh right, some colors are actually bugs. I think it's mostly one particular red, though.

mdom 12-01-2018 11:08 PM

oh yeah, I have a vegetarian friend that doesn't eat candy that was dyed using that bug.
But I'd use metallic beetles as jewelry

Biomecha 12-01-2018 11:15 PM

There is a trend of resin encased bug jewelry. I'm not sure if the metallics would lose their luster during the process.

mdom 12-01-2018 11:25 PM

Hm, that'd be a problem. I'm only interested in shiny stuff.

But wouldn't you want to pay 250 for a dung beetle brooch, dung included

There's also this kind: https://www.instagram.com/alchemy_arthropods/
Or the ones that are a resin cast and filled with glitter.

I like how you balanced the shaded/muted rainbow parts. What is the rainbow stripe around the bust?

mdom 12-02-2018 12:25 AM

That is much more my vibe and also more affordable.

It's actually part of the top! Top, bottom and gloves are from the industrial seasonal set, so kudos to staff, not me xD

Biomecha 12-02-2018 12:46 AM

Yeah, you just have to hope no one tries to swat them off you.

You still got your face to match.

mdom 12-02-2018 12:53 AM

I hate people touching me, so I'd definitely swat them back |D

I may or may not have bought all colorful blushes and eyeshadows. There is one that looks pretty rainbow (it's under the eye sore though)

Biomecha 12-02-2018 12:59 AM

Yeah, well it's called for in that case.

That's probably a good idea since I imagine they layer well.
