Ah, I'm not sure I can watch anymore series of people fucking up... feels so close to home

It's mostly quirky dark humor, but I can relate. I was hoping Rain Dogs would go that route, but it wound up being really toxic and dark and hard to watch.

It feels like it's getting harder to find new shows that are worth watching.

Yeah what new show have I watched... schmigadoon I guess but it's musical so not to everyone's taste.
Also finished Picard and cried...

And now the writer's strike might slow things down.

Oddly enough, I just keep finding new things to binge on youtube.

Uh, a lot of random stuff really. Whatever topic I'm hyper-focused on for that period. A lot of people making things who have interesting personalities. Or make-up reviews since I'm catching up on a lot of new releases. Also, Baumgartner Restoration has really grown on me. Especially for trying to sleep. He can sound repetitive and too much like he's reading from a script, but you get used to it. He also subtley roasts bad restoration work. I never liked people who make content just for the sake of making content, but Naomi Jon has also been kind of wholesome. She has a really good voice too.

Have you watched Queer Eye Brazil?

oooh restoration stuff sounds interesting. I haven't, but one of them went into Big Brother and I read that he lived (lives? now that he's famous I'll never know) here and his husband is related to one my sister's childhood bullies (why did she have more than one).

Also now I'm distracting myself with another streamer.... Henry's Kitchen

I'm part way through it and it almost seems like some of the heroes know who the Fab 5 are, like are they already well known public figures?

I've been watching a lot of music stuff lately, and finally started watching some Twitch streams.

And am pretty bummed that my favorite 3rd party reddit app is no longer going to be usable. It had so many useful features.

Mrs. Davis did seem promising, but was kind of disappointed.

Ah, recently I got into Ghosts (UK)! It just ended, but there'll be a christmas special.

Have you seen the US version? I might give the UK one a try. Couldn't get into US one.

Someone said the US version is sillier and less dark.

It went well. I wish I had been closer. Only issue was that I aggravated my old ankle injury, so I couldn't stand for very long. I was extremely nervous, but was able to meet with another fan from the Discord which helped.

It's always nice to count on someone else for social events.

Now I wouldn't mind going to some other concerts, but I doubt many of them would be that close.

Yeah my city doesn't have many things I want to go, even though Sean Kingston was here for some reason.

I notice people are always asking for bands to come to Brazil, I'm surprised more don't. I'm going to wind up traveling for another concert, for the same artist, since it's the first headliner.

I survived the concert and actually was at the front. And now have another concert soon.

I have a 3+1 day event with a band coming up, including getting to watch them record an album again. My face and name is in the album liner notes for the first one.

The last one I went was Sasha Colby with my sister!! She is fantastic but I am... getting too old for events that start at 2 am!! I gotta try to go to the drag brunches, but they sell out so fast...

Sorry, realize now that's confusing. I have a 3 day event with them, but then have to fly back and drive a few hours to another concert of their's the same week that isn't a part of the event. Each concert/performance will be different, though.

But a drag brunch would be sunday lunch!! Also no traffic!

There's no such thing as less traffic when the sun is out here. Hopefully you can score some tickets, though. They sound like fun.

Some artists I don't really listen to that often, but seeing them live is actually better. But not enough seem to want to perform at venues nearby, so I don't go to as many as I'd like.

I hope I can get to some next year!!

Oh yeah, ever since I started to leave the house regularly I realized how nice live shows are. I like when it makes my bones throb.

Yess, since I usually go right to the front it's where the subwoofers are and you really feel it. But you also have to watch out for people moshing or stage diving.

Hehehe I think I'm going only to old people concerts xD there is some dance, but nothing too extreme. I did watch a 95 year old singer the other day... hm...

Metal is ageless!

There's one that is more laid back and performs in historical buildings by candlelight I'd like to see. But she doesn't travel long flights, so I'd have to go to the UK to see her.
