Were they? It did seem weird that the importance of developing a unique "brand/identity" is stressed, but then to get told not to do the thing that is a part of their identity.

mdom 01-13-2020 11:31 AM

Yeah, and then Bianca wins xD

Biomecha 01-13-2020 12:39 PM

Did you not think she deserved to win?

mdom 01-13-2020 10:54 PM

Oh no, she did!! But she is not versatile. She can't even lip sync xDD

Biomecha 01-13-2020 11:54 PM

Ah, I may have missed the lip syncs from the earlier seasons. The judging from Project Runway way seems to be competing for who is the worst.

mdom 01-14-2020 12:27 AM

She never was in the bottom, so she only did the top 4 lip sync, and she never does it on her shows either xD it's just not what she does.

Biomecha 01-14-2020 01:06 AM

Ohh, I forgot about that part. Enough queens already do lip syncs so at least not everyone should feel they have to do it.

mdom 01-14-2020 02:51 AM

I just find it funny because the show puts a lot of emphasis on that. and acting challenges, for some reason

Biomecha 01-14-2020 03:04 AM

That's true. Maybe part of it is because they work within the challenge format of the show's structure.

mdom 01-14-2020 11:20 AM

More sewing challenges!!!
Interviews are a good idea too, and they're funnier than acting challenges bc they always fuck it up

Biomecha 01-14-2020 12:39 PM

There should be, but maybe they don't have enough experience nowadays. They can change it to them scouring Instagram to find who makes their next outfit.

I'd much prefer to see interviews than the acting challenges.

mdom 01-14-2020 01:11 PM

new challenge: who finds the best new talent on instagram!!

Biomecha 01-14-2020 04:52 PM

I actually wouldn't mind a new competition with just designers who design for drag artists.

mdom 01-14-2020 06:09 PM

Project Runway - Drag Edition!
Let's submit that to the... channel that does that
I don't know the name

Biomecha 01-14-2020 08:24 PM

There can be a challenge where the designers have to deal with an up and coming insta-famous drag star not paying them and who can come up with the best receipts to support their claims.

mdom 01-14-2020 08:38 PM

ahahaha I was gonna say 'anyone in mind' but there are too many to count now

Biomecha 01-14-2020 09:03 PM

I actually don't know who it has happened to, just heard that it happens. I'm just desperate for more fashion shows.

mdom 01-14-2020 09:14 PM

I was watching a pageant reality show here, and it was... well. They had one useful episode of matching colors to the skin of the misses but also they portrayed her as vapid girls =/

Biomecha 01-15-2020 12:08 AM

That's too bad. At least some competitions try not to be drama focused, like Bake Off. But not enough.

mdom 01-15-2020 08:10 PM

uk bake off is the best

brazil has a bake off but there's drama

Biomecha 01-15-2020 08:54 PM

Aside from the hosts, which are better in the UK one...I actually liked this year's US Bake Off better than the UK's. The US one is filmed in the same location. The female judge is better too. I wish they'd get rid of Mr. Hollywood, though.

mdom 01-16-2020 12:37 AM

Have you seen Violet Chachki and Pat Mcgrath together?
So much power

Biomecha 01-16-2020 01:02 AM

No, where at?

I remember long ago it used to be incredibly hard to find any info on Pat McGrath.

mdom 01-16-2020 08:06 AM

Her instagram. Now her meaning Violet or Pat, you'll never know!
Someone posted stories screenshots on the subreddit.
https://imgur.com/a/cVKYQ5X/
not sure why she was congratulating her xD

Biomecha 01-16-2020 11:58 AM

It looks like her makeup was being launched at the Sephora in France. Seems surprising since it's been at the US locations for a while.
And an odd coincidence...

mdom 01-16-2020 01:32 PM

Something you could gift me next christmas!! Then I can make my holo dreams come true!!

Biomecha 01-16-2020 04:20 PM

What? When I went to see it, I got charged just for looking and it called me poor.

mdom 01-17-2020 12:02 AM

well.. you have 2 kidneys

and a will to kill

Biomecha 01-17-2020 12:45 AM

You make a convincing argument.

Another odd coincidence, Netflix has Next in Fashion coming out pretty soon with Tan from Queer Eye.

mdom 01-17-2020 01:01 AM

The universe is conspiring! Can't tell if for or against you

Biomecha 01-17-2020 03:02 AM

For, if it turns out well. Against, if we constantly hear about the French tuck. Apparently the crew was also casting people in Texas for future Queer Eye episodes.

mdom 01-17-2020 01:20 PM

Heheh I wonder if he patented the french tuck.

Didn't you audition??

Biomecha 01-17-2020 06:09 PM

I'd never want to be on anything televised, or similar. But you have to be nominated. And no one knows I exist. Maybe they'll show some familar places.

mdom 01-17-2020 10:40 PM

Hey, I could've nominated you!!

Biomecha 01-17-2020 11:12 PM

But I wouldn't want to be nominated? I'm just curious about where they might visit.

mdom 01-18-2020 05:49 PM

Don't you want a free house renovation!! Plus free new wardrobe! You just have to cry on tv to make it happen

Biomecha 01-18-2020 06:33 PM

It's not worth being filmed, especially around hyper personalities. The renovation done in a couple of days doesn't seem worthwhile, would rather have something done well that takes time. I have liked what Bobby does style-wise.

mdom 01-19-2020 10:09 AM

What about Drag U? That is something I would do.

Biomecha 01-19-2020 10:52 AM

I want to see you on there. You'd probably sweep the competition with your experience. Who would you want to be your mentor...teacher?

mdom 01-19-2020 02:21 PM

Jujubee!! <333

Uk drag series is also good. very heartfelt
