Yes I am using wireless! But my other internet that also got slow isn't wireless so I don't know.

Fey - when my wireless net does that I grab the ethernet cord and plug it in. it tends to give more juice to the laptop. I wish you lucks =(

I did. I put it on the lowest default settings....and I checked the requirements too and there's one thing that I don't meet so that's probably why it's not working.

I try to shut down everything before starting to play. the more programs running in the background the more RAM is used then the more the game shuts down

Yes I do. I run virus scans before and after playing that way just in case something came on during my play time
