I'm not on any side, I'll be hiding out away from everything.

But, looks like I'll be going to another meet-up tomorrow. Surprisingly didn't scare them away and they were pestering me to come back, and will even stay the night at one of their homes probably.

I plan on watching it, I did see some nice costumes. I need to finish watching Dark, 2 seasons behind and probably need to rewatch the first one to remember anything.

DARK IS SO GOOD AND SO WILD. Definitely recommend.

I wound up catching up on Upload and now Undone, but not quite done. I'll get back to Dark. I can't multi-task with foreign language shows, so it's hard to find time.

The meet-up went well, and the women I stayed with was really easy to talk to. But you could say there was an awkward discovery, and I'm now re-thinking what happened previously, because of the show host's brother.

He had confessed certain feelings for me to the woman I stayed with, and so I apparently misinterpreted his overt friendliness. Not a situation I've ever experienced, and he's much older.

They radio show is going to do a live show with an audience, though. So that will be interesting, and scary. But they went out of their way to make sure I can go, so surprisingly haven't scared them off yet.

It'll probably be okay. They actually added me to the show prep page, where you can help them find content for the show. And they already talked about some of the things I've submitted on the radio, so that's cool.

Heh, too bad radio is dying so that it could be more meaningful.

But the show is Thursday, tickets actually sold out in the first hour which doesn't usually happen for the venue.

I survived the night but got burned out. But it was pretty low key at least, for a live show.

It was a classic music radio, so even if they played the same songs I wouldn't know ehehe

Sorry for disappearing. Haven't really been functional lately.

It's more the morning talk that makes it worth listening to. For some reason, the only podcasts people make are focused on one subject or have a guest each episode. It's hard to find any that have the same dynamic as the radio shows that are worth listening to.

hm, yeah, I see. Also podcasts might have a listener's edition but the ol' tradition of radio live calls or asking for songs is over...

Trixie and Katya's podcast is kind of what I'm looking for, but their's is a little hard to listen to for very long. Same with Best Friends with Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata. Just need to find ones that are similar.

I think I could listen to something if I was doing something else visually. Like playing fortnite.

They're podcast is videotaped and should be on the YouTube. Not sure if that would be visual enough.

I never have a podcast going without doing something else. They're good for doing things like chores so that it's less daunting while listening to them.

ironically it's easier to focus on what they're saying while doing something else xD just listening makes the mind wonder...

Yeah, I'd like to try audiobooks as an alternative but the voice actors matter a great deal and some of the books I've listened to samples of made me apprehensive.

did you see anything from this season of drag race? next week is the finale

I only saw part of the first episode. How have you liked it?

The first eps that were 40 minutes went by kinda too fast |D So I didn't get to know much of several queens. For some reason challenges were better than the runway.

I think I'm burned out on the Drag Race formula. There's gotta be potential for something different considering how multi-faceted they have to be. I think all I want is interesting personalities and fashion, though.

Edit: Oh my goodness, the radio host gave me a shout out on air for contributing stories.

They did a Brazilian drag show that travels travels through the country showing different cultural things. The cast is fun but the editing is so horrible D: Like the first episode had a maxi challenge about hairography but they barely showed a few seconds of each queen.

Caravana das drags! It's on prime video. One of the hosts is Xuxa, a kids tv presenter from when I was a child. They said there's also gonna be a drag race brazil, filmed in colombia for some reason

Yay, it's on the US version too. I will try to watch it.

I was only able to watch the first episode of Totally Completely Fine since the rest was locked behind the paid version, but it seems to have potential.
