I'm good at baking but I don't like all the cleanup afterwards ^^;

Feythfull 09-12-2011 11:11 AM

>.> some times I leave that for my mom. but some times she doesn't let me get away with it.

Serra Britt 09-12-2011 11:15 AM

Yea, I pretty much have to do all the cleaning myself too. Roommate is more lazy than me at times.

DK...Addict xD But then again I did enjoy EE when I played it.

So funny. We ended up having a convo in this same line of thought. I hadn't seen this post yet.

I like my job. Sometimes the guests can be less than pleasant but that's the life of any customer service-y worker. SOME of the guests are really great and those are the ones that make all the bull worth dealing with. I go so super lucky, because my boss is awesome.

Feyfey - pure talent, yo.
Weirdly enough it's when I saw screw the recipe that my better dishes come out. But that's usually above the oven cookery. I can rawk a skillet like nobody's business.

Feythfull 09-12-2011 11:26 AM

thats lucky of you my mom can just throw stuff together some times it turns out other times not me mostly not!

Usually when I am baking reasently though it's gluten free, egg free and dairy free so my sister can eat is and turning a regular recipe into one of those doesn't always work!

Serra Britt 09-12-2011 11:30 AM

All that stuff is hard to bake with but it can be done, Feyfey. My ex's mom had to cook that way for herself too.

@Wicked, I've been in customer service pretty much the entire time I've been working. Good and bad points, and I agree that the pleasant customers make everything worth it :3

Wicked 09-12-2011 11:31 AM

Ooh Fey that's rough.
My boss's nephew recently had to overhaul his diet like that
and to make it easier on him the whole family is trying to change
their diets as well. From what she tells me they basically can't eat out anywhere anymore
and the gluten free products can be a lot more expensive. That's so unfair.

Feythfull 09-12-2011 11:33 AM

yes it can be done but it's best to use a recipe that was meant for being everything free as I call it lol. if you take a recipe that has wheat flour, and eggs in it (the dairy isn't that hard unless it's major ingredient like if your making pudding or something) and you replace the eggs with egg replacer a the wheat flour with a gluten less flour it doesn't usually turn out that great.

Wicked 09-12-2011 11:34 AM

I think I need to go to bed.
Thanks for chatting with me! Seems like no one is online when I am.

Serra Britt 09-12-2011 11:36 AM

Sleep well Wicked! See you around some other time :3

Feythfull 09-12-2011 11:40 AM

sweet dreams wicked!

luckly my sister doesn't live at home any more cuz i love the gluten lol but I bake gluten free egg free when she is coming over because i know it wont get eaten all at my house
