Yeah a lot of people imported the game, I know a guy who is playing it yet doesn't understand a word of Japanese. xD

I would say that's really dumb, but some of it you really can understand because Pokemon does have a basic concept. Find pokemon, catch them, friend them, get badges, become champion. It's much more than that but you get the point. xD; |
Yeah he came up to 2 language related barriers that I am aware of but as far as I know he was able to figure them out.

There are a few ROMs out of it now, and I think a few are translated into English. It's technically illegal, but that's never stopped the Internet before.
