I'm gonna raise a rainbow bug then. Or not... bugs don't live long...
|
Also opalescent ones...
|
THAT'S SO STUNNING!!
why wasn't I born a bug... or a cat... |
It is. I need to print out all my favorite insect photos and create a little gallery area with them. Tortoise beetles are the best because they look like spaceships. You'd probably like them because there are a million different colors.
|
ooooh it definitely looks like a spaceship!!
How was voluntary work?? |
It was an orientation so they mostly just showed us around. No hands on training yet, but that will be in a few days. They have a live cat cam for one of the rooms. Sounds like they have plenty of people for cats but not dogs, though.
|
Awww live cat cam!!Oooh, hope there's enough Bio to all the dogs.
|
Do you want the link? The kitties are in bed for now, and they have a door blocking it.
And hopefully no bitey dogs. Have you watched the A League of Their Own series? |
Yes pls share the link!
Hm, I don't think so, what is it about? I did finish Picard. |
It's based on the movie by the same name. You should probably watch the movie if you haven't, it's pretty classic. With Tom Hanks and Gena Davis. If you're familiar with Abbi Jacobson from Broad City, she wrote the series and stars in it. It does have a lot of her humor, but it's pretty decent. One of the side characters is actually my favorite, and the real star of the show for me. But it's about the women's baseball leagues during World War II and based on real events.
|
oh wow madonna was in that movie xD
Sounds cool, I'm gonna add to the list. Did you watch the making the cut finale? |
I'm not sure how it holds up.
Not yet. But I was finally able to submit my Rover profile, so now just to wait for it to be approved. Edit: I'm approved! |
YEAAAAH CONGRATS BIO!!! \o/ get that cash!!
|
I'm afraid that people will have bitey dogs. Hopefully people will at least give me a chance, though.
I did training today, a couple of dogs were bitey. Lots of duties, so it's going to take a while to get used to the routine. |
But like play-bite or strong bite like my sister's dog D:
she bit me again today T^T |
Biting because they're scared. Good thing I started with the small dogs.
That's not good, I hope it's not getting worse. |
My dad forgot to push the chair after lunch so Luna got on the table and ate some of our meal T^T good thing she didn't throw up or anything.
|
It sounds like she could use training from a pro. I like her name, though.
I think I might send you one of the cats that has been hanging around here a lot more lately. A calico, even. |
She bit me when I took her off the table T^T the other dog is so chill though.
Awww! I'll name it Biomecat |
Maybe you can find a look a like that is nicer and swap the one that bites.
Almost every time we come home at night, there seems to be another cat and a raccoon together. Not sure if they are friends. |
I was gonna say parent trap but let's pretend I said a movie with twins that makes more sense.
Sounds like they're gonna be in a very fun cartoon ehehe |
Or trade it for a very fluffy white cat, and gaslight her that it was a cat all along.
|
heheh maybe I could say it was a fox or wolf all along
|
I have to watch a long instructional video on dog safety. I'll give you pointers. Or leather gloves that go up to your elbows.
|
I don't doubt her teeth could go through leather... they're so pointy @_@
|
Good thing they aren't vampires. Luring people with their adorableness. Not sure about cats, since they don't like to be cuddly yet they are still popular.
|
ehehe cats could transmit vampirism by scratching instead od biting... I love cats because they are less cuddly than dogs xD
|
I had a cat as a kid. She would lay on my back when I tried to sleep. Probably because I was just a heating vessel.
|
Hehe my sister uses the dogs as heating vessels. Terrible in the summer though.
|
She could probably knit a sweater with their fur after grooming them.
Finally finished Making the Cut. Pretty underwhelming. |
Hehe they do leave fur behind... a lot...
hehe I wish Rafael had won but when the other started complaining about having no money... I imagined he'd win |
Yannik seemed to get too much inspiration from Maison Margiela, the earlier stuff mostly. I'm surprised no one called him out on how unoriginal any of it was and actually said it was creative. I feel like I've already seen everything he did before. But also the belt guy seemed to be the first to come up with photographing a textile to make a print, and Yannik and Georgia both used that idea after.
|
Belt guy's best work was the belt look indeed xD I also didn't like them praising Georgia as if it was original...
Rafael should've won! am I biased? Yes but |
I can't say I was rooting for anyone at the end. Or beginning. I'm just ready for the Bake Off team to produce a fashion competition.
|
Food themed outfits, wait, did you see baking impossible?
|
I mean a normal fashion competition, but with a better format like Bake Off. Or at least one with more reasonable time constraints.
I haven't seen it. Is it one where it's more about the visuals than the flavors? |
Yeah it's more about resilience of the baked goods xD a baker worked with an engineer. They had a food outfit episode ehehe.
|
Ah, I like the ones that are creative with flavors and use ingredients you've never heard about. A food outfit can be neat, like unconventional challenges.
|
The outfit had to be edible and also have some kind of mechanic gimmick.
drag race needs a food ball ehehehe >:) |
Do they get a decent amount of time?
There's a lot they could do with that one. It could be really clever, but also interesting to see who would go for the obvious jokes or ideas. |
