Scary, yes. And scary for the sober people trying to get past the traffic jam.

Lawtan 04-14-2016 01:04 AM

I am envisioning a giant scoop lifting drunk sailors onto the boat to set sail...

I had a room mate who was always on...something. He acted like every day was a hangover. Made his own fraternity. Not fond memories.

Tam I am 04-14-2016 01:11 AM

LOL Like the nets on a fishing boat.

aww. Uncool.

Lawtan 04-14-2016 01:25 AM

Tam I am 04-14-2016 03:16 PM

Just means "big food", according to certain young people I know.

Den 04-14-2016 07:34 PM

...I should probably make something to eat...

*giggles because Tam and I are far from being teens*

trystan830 04-14-2016 11:15 PM

ml1201 04-15-2016 12:57 AM

The 3D file of them, is it just recording the images on them? Because the other image was showing a blank container.

XD I learnt it from Den. But yes. I talk like a teenager a lot of the time, or even like a little kid.

lol I wasn't a teen when I first met you, either.

Tam I am 04-16-2016 07:13 PM

You're still a kid!

*runs*

Lawtan 04-18-2016 10:37 AM

O.o
Den is older than me...

Then again, I tend to say that all that separates a child from an adult are:
1) hormones
2) experience
3) societal expectation

...note none of those are necessarily good things. (experience can be bad or good)

that last one tends to be where I butt heads with not only society but my family as well. :/

And Tam's just weird. lol

ml1201 04-18-2016 05:01 PM

You know, I butt heads with my mom on that last one too, one thing in particular being that most of the people I hang out with are guys because we have similar interests. She mad that I don't hang out with girls and she even tried to get me into the same things as my nieces (make-up and the latest 'cute famous guy' kind of things *shrugs*).

Lawtan 04-18-2016 06:11 PM

As I said, not necessarily good. Societal expectation can mean "you should go to war" or encourage worse.

or "You shouldn't have kids' toys after a certain age". how boring that would be.

Lawtan 04-18-2016 10:37 PM

I don't know...replacing legos with musical tesla coils is okay in my book. xD

Now, see, that's just cool, sciency toys. :p-grin: I'm talking about how my mom told me, when I was younger "A 22, almost 23, year old should not STILL have toys." in reference to my Transformers and dolls.

Lawtan 04-18-2016 10:57 PM

Toy: An item that can be used for play.

...I think the only non-toys by that definition would be stars, blackholes, and radioactive material. xD

trystan830 04-18-2016 10:59 PM

yeah, that sounds about right, Law. XD

Den 04-18-2016 11:03 PM

ml1201 04-19-2016 03:49 PM

It's literally what it sounds like. Comic shops all over the world have a selection of comics that publishers put out specifically for FCBD, for free. I'm going to be an artist at one of the shops in Omaha (Sadly, Red Oak lacks comic shops, because it's small and it's a very dull place), so I'm trying to find friends in the area to go to shops and get me one of every comic (I donate the ones geared toward little kids to various places like doctors' offices and the like).

Lawtan 04-20-2016 06:25 PM

We still have a while, but I'd happily accept a few :D

Law is drawing! \o/

Tam I am 04-20-2016 06:31 PM

W00t! *will send Law a few eggs!*

I gave some friends a card today that I got in a colouring book and coloured.
