Nice! Buttercream is pretty much a requirement for me. I actually don't care for the spongey cake part, unless it has a lot of texture the way Italian of hummingbird cakes have. A little cake with buttercream is better.

brigadeiro is very easy to make! You just need one spoon of butter, one can of condensed milk (400ml) and two spoons of cocoa powder.

There aren't really any rainbow dogs either. There are interesting colorations, like seal and blue like I've had. And learning about dilutes genetically for more unusual colors. But brindle can also be cool for patterns.
