Ohhhh. Law! Have you seen the baby monsters at the event shop?

Lawtan 04-13-2016 11:13 PM

*Takes tea and hugs* Thank you. *hugs and cries a little*

Tam I am 04-13-2016 11:32 PM

I found gluten free Oreos the other day. I still haven't decided if I want to try them.

*checks on Law*

Den 04-13-2016 11:33 PM

Mom likes the Oreo Thins... Those just seem wrong to me.

trystan830 04-13-2016 11:34 PM

i like the official oreo Oreos. =D

Potironette 04-13-2016 11:35 PM

I like all Oreo knock-offs!

Tam I am 04-13-2016 11:37 PM

I used to like the thins. But now I've got to be gluten-free. I don't remember the originals really impressing me enough to make me want to eat many of them.

Lawtan 04-13-2016 11:38 PM

O.O
*Grows five limbs to hug Den and Tam*

awesome blanket fort, Law!

*ducks under blanket to check it out*

Potironette 04-13-2016 11:41 PM

Ohh! The lights are flickering!

I remember I used to do that when I was six years old--make tents out of blankets and chairs then attempt to sleep under them xD.

-puts pillows around Law-

Lawtan 04-13-2016 11:41 PM

...Baby Law noms on Oreos. <3

my college-age daughter has a blanket fort under her dorm bed. i love it! =)

Tam I am 04-13-2016 11:47 PM

Under it?

trystan830 04-13-2016 11:52 PM

yep - the legs are rather taller than your usual bed.

Lawtan 04-13-2016 11:53 PM

Bunk Bed? I like to make them.

Ohhhh. Sounds nice. XD

Also, the new 'Ratchet and Clank' game is fun to watch. And that's all I have to say about that.

I want to make a loft bed, but not with an impractical ladder. I want one with nice, wide steps, and a good handrail on either side of the ladder... okay, I want a staircase up to the bed part. >.>;;

trystan830 04-13-2016 11:55 PM

not bunk beds... but i imagine her and her roommate could make bunk beds. but my kid likes her blanket fort. =D

when i was in college, you could line the desk, dresser and bed up just right so you could loft the bed. i really liked that.

First time I went to college, way back in 2005, I was in the dorms. We had beds that could be bunk'd, or left separate. My first roommate and I left our beds separate, which was for the best, because she and I ended up not getting along at all... but then my then BFF moved in with me and we ended u bunking our beds, with me on the top bunk... I still remember the first day of the second semester, I tried waking the new roommate up, and she wouldn't get up... so she slept through class, and got a little huffy with me for not waking her up.

Tam I am 04-14-2016 12:06 AM

Gweeeeen Baby Law! Eeeeee! Too much cute!

And drawers in the steps, Den?

trystan830 04-14-2016 12:06 AM

i really wish i had a pic of one of my dorm beds. the most common way the rooms were set up was that one bed was lofted with the long side against the wall, and the other was on the floor, with the short side under the lofted bed - kinda like weird perpendicular (on two planes) bunk beds. i have no idea how to even google that....

Tam I am 04-14-2016 12:09 AM

Ohh. I've seen L shaped bunk beds before. It's neat.

trystan830 04-14-2016 12:11 AM

kinda like this - without all the wood framing. heh.

Tam I am 04-14-2016 12:17 AM

Yuuup. Sometimes there's a built in chest of drawers or closet.

Lawtan 04-14-2016 12:20 AM

I remember seeing one with a roll-out board under the bottom bed. - like for a playset or something...I don't know why I mention this xD

trystan830 04-14-2016 12:20 AM

eh, not with the simple dorm beds, Tam

and the 'ladder' was the desk chair to the desk, and then jump up on to the bed. i think it was only in my second year when the housing peoples decided that really wasn't safe, so we couldn't loft the beds anymore.

And I think that's Booooo.

trystan830 04-14-2016 12:23 AM

well, college students. and thursday was party night. too much booze and a lofted bed? that's not going to end all that well...

Tam I am 04-14-2016 12:26 AM

Ohhh yeah. Reminds me of one young man showing his tiny house. His bed pulled out from under a raised part of the floor. He explained that he didn't like lofts, because he drank.

Also reminds me of reading what one person said about his Navy years and finding guys piled up at the bottoms of the ladders in the ship after the end of leave time.

trystan830 04-14-2016 12:27 AM

oh my... that's ... scary.

Den 04-14-2016 12:29 AM

When my former BFF and I had our beds bunked, we had the room arranged so I could use my desk chair and the window sill to get up to my bed. I'd step onto the chair, then onto the window sill, then finally pull myself up onto my bed, because the ladder hurt my feet.

trystan830 04-14-2016 12:30 AM

yeah, that sounds about right for my dorm room too, Den
