She was the only manager on duty, but... we did have our manager in training who's far from worthless and could usually answer my questions... or y'know, help as well... But I dunno. She was, like, trying to find things to be mad at. I can understand being a little frustrated with me when I'm new and trying to learn all these things (mailing and the copy center for two), but... she just got mad over stupid things, really.

I'm not too worried because I did the same thing with Diamond version and only got stuck once but luckily there is the internet. xD And Illusion said he'd help me.

I already do feel like my avis are all variations of the same items in different colors. XD I use the vest, corset, sarya sash, tall boots, and fishnets in almost every avi.

I'm short in real life, so I also like making my avis look tall and leggy. XD

I may as well be 5'2 when it comes to sitting, since, like I said, my legs are so short most chairs I can swing my feet in.

Items I pretty much always use are: patch dress (need all colours, seriously), these short/pant things (again, another I need all colours in), tech horns, reaper (now), and at least one form of my anka...

I usually sit criss-cross applesauce in chairs so I don't really notice whether my feet touch the ground or not. XD but I guess in this chair they sorta graze the ground lightly. I can touch but I can also swing if I want to. XD

it really just takes a lot of practice. I think I read a tutorial on making matching avis on gaia like forever ago, and I used to try and follow that to the t. I entered an avi contest, and being around a bunch of people who made awesome avis, I kinda learned how to do different things and be more loosey-goosey about matching. it also really helps that we have epic layering here, because I can hide parts of items that aren't the right color. XD the huge color palette also helps, because I can just go with "I'll use shade 4 of this color" and all the items of that color will match. ^.^ it also takes some learnin' on what colors the special items are, like, Anka uses the second-lightest shade of Jade.

haha, I know. I mean, I just... I dunno. I'm so picky that I end up sticking to somewhat more simple avis, but that's okay. Right now I love mine. Haaair @_@

yeah, I know what you mean. My roommate always looks over when I'm making an avi, and she's like, "I have no idea how you guys do that. I just stick to the more simple things. I am really picky about my avi though, and that's why I change it so often. you can tell I really like it if I keep it for more than 36 hours. XD
