I love the tea the I've had.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to get my hands on tea as often as I would like, (if anyone knows of inexpensive but delicious tea they should tell me what it is and where I can get some!!) but I like to indulge in a cup whenever I can.

I can't say I have a favorite since I don't get tea very often, but I suppose I like green tea, chai tea, uh... yeah. >.>

I rifle through the supermarket brands once in a while. My favourite would be Mighty Leaf but it's $12 a box so screw that! I usually go for Twinnings, Celestial Seasonings, Tazo, and Yogi Tea. Not a fan of Tetly. I get my green genmaicha tea from an Asian food store so I can't read the brandname on it. I just keep in mind what the box looks like.

We're getting a DavidsTea over here. Yay! No clue when it opens though. I just saw an opening for a general manager while job hunting that mentioned the store coming to where I live.

Andn go figure, I went to fives stores yesterday while looking for Saffron for my sister in law, and completely forgot that I'm out of my favourite morning tea. -.-

I treated myself to Tazo Passion tea. I bought myself a box today at the grocery store in the Nature's Marketplace ^^

I went to Whole Foods yesterday to get some special tortillas for my brother (Whole Foods is the local sort of oranganic joint). Was in a rush so didn't look too much at the tea section but got a new box of Yogi Tea Kombucha. I love kombucha!

I saw that at the store tonight. I was thinking of buying a box of the Yogi. I might soon.

Got some Chinese black tea with rose in it yesterday. Interesting stuff. Has a sweet taste to it.

Went to the tea store looking for Assam Banaspaty (if I have that spelled right). They didn't have it, but they had stuff from a few other estates

Assam is apparently grown on a particular side of a particular river in India and the name is gets is the name of the estate it comes from. The store I was at has eleven different estates, but there are hundreds. The men there recommended Assam Tarajulie so I'm giving that a try. I know the DavidsTea moving in has Banaspaty so I'll have to wait for them to show, or make a trip downtown to the Fairmont hotel for some of theirs.

I love tea. I can drink tea at anytime of the day lol. I'm not picky on my tea.. But I do prefer cold tea, and has to have some sort of flavoring..

The Tarajulie assam is something called gold tip, and I liked it, but I'll keep a look out for what you mentioned Shohn.


I've never really been fond of cold tea. I guess when it's hot and I don't particularly want anything else, but I rarely make tea that is cold. I usually have the brisk or whatever stuff in a can. That probably doesn't count.

I'm not really much into tea. Actually, I'm going to stop drinking anything that has caffine in it and just stick with water or juice from now on. Homemade juice or the Simply orange and Simply apple stuff.

We have a jug of Simply Orange in the fridge right now. Probably not a bad idea for me since I'm toying with what to eat. Sugar in the form of fruit juice right now it probably better for me than sugar in the form of more tea.

It's raining outside and I'm not doing much of anything right now. (Okay, well I'm on tris and facebook gaming when I could be job searching or doing something slightly more productive than I am). It's a plain tea day.

I love tea, my favorite is green tea.

I have over indulged today I think. Three cups so far, one of them decaf, but I need some water to balance things out. Haven't been paying enough attention to how late it's getting.

Went to Breckenridge a couple months back and bought three bags of pomegranate oolong tea-best tea I've ever had hands down

I don't think I've even tried oolong tea. Is it something particular to itself or is it a type or black or green tea?

I've only tried pomegranate green tea from Tetly, and I've decided that tetly makes crummy green tea so haven't had any in a while. I like hot pomegranate juice though, when I have it around.

According to wikipedia there are several different kinds of oolong, and the pomegranate oolong that I like is very fruity with almost no discernible "tea" taste to it. I've also had a darker oolong that had a very nutty taste to it, but I can't remember which one it was

I know teas all come from the same plant, but are prepared differentlt depending on type.

Asking my mom here, since her dad used to drink lapsang suchong and oolong all the time. Her mother used to say that one was like an old English trunk and the other was smoked. I've had Lapsang Sushong so I suspect that's the smokey one. Not sure what an English would smell like.

I had no idea there were other drinks beside tea? I live off it, my body is 99 percent tea. I'd need a tea fusion if I ever got into an accident, I'm that tea addicted.

ha! Sounds a little like me until the doctors started griping about it. Too much tanic acid is not good for one's bones apparently, especially if they make their tea like I do which often involves forgetting about it until it's luke warm and strong as tar.

Tea mostly for me I can't even remember when I first started drinking it, just in the past couple years my friend got me to drink coffee, when I needed to stay awake for some homework

I just got into loose leaf tea recently. I got a little teapot with a filter/steeper, with four little cups and it was actually made in Japan(thank god for teavana having some things on a 75% off sale xD). From teavana I got a small baggie of expensive floral-y but good tea (2 0z for $12 or just about that @_@) I also have a small canister of green tea(their sencha one) I bought from davidstea. Cheaper and pretty good.

I have some white Avurdevic Chai from them that I haven't tried yet. It was in a blend at the store samplers that they called "Samurai White." I got a tea book from them recently. It read only 50% off, but the lady at the till gave me 75%. :)

I could really go for a very very strong tea right now...I love tea.

But I also love coffee >.<

I tend to go for someting strong black tea with milk and sugar in the mornings, since I'm not much for eating right away, though I will occasionally have a plain green instead if I don't feel up to my usual stuff. Herbal tea or decaf black in the evenings for me too. I don't find there's a lot of taste difference with regular red rose versus decaf so I go with decaf since I'm a poor sleeper to begin with.

I drank coffee a lot when I was around 8-10 and I asked mom to show me how to use the coffee maker. I put so much sugar and milk in it there probably wasn't much coffee left. I still have it the same way when I need something to *really* wake me up, or if it's Sunday dinner. I siwtched to tea when I starting having herbal mint teas. I was on a special diet so no pops and such for me.

I think I'm an odd one here since I don't like milk in my tea. I also like it strong, like real english tea is.

It's also easy to make it into iced tea that tastes so much better than that powder junk they sell in the stores. I'm having a big glass of it now.

I put milk in black tea but almost never in green, white, or herbal tea unless I'm in the mood for something creamy. Once in a blue moon I might forgo milk in black tea but I don't make it as strong and it's more if my gut is griping about the thought of milk.

*hospital appointment tomorrow in regards to that. Sigh!*

I would only put it in white tea if I wanted a glass of hot milk that tasted a little like tea. I do that once and a while when going to bed sometimes. I just make a small amount of tea to flavour the milk more than anything. Berry white teas can make it a little smoothie like. I put a lot of milk in my Chai, which is apparently typical for the tea. Sometimes I'll go half and half with it. Makes the tea a little more substantial if I don't really want to eat something but want more than a cup of tea.

I never really think about that. I just pile in the milk with wahtever tea I have. It's works well with anything for 'milky tea' but I find a softer tasting black is better than stuff that's sharper. You know how you can sometimes smell a tea and imagine is at being cooler or warmer? i find the warmer ones work well with piles of milk and the cooler ones not as much.

I like to do it with my mango tea, (from Pekoe). It's among my favourites. Adding vanilla might work too, but that might make it over sweet, depending on how one likes sweet. I should experiment with my tea more. There's a drink called a 'London Fog' that is steamed milk with earl grey tea and vanilla syrup. It's very good, and nice to have a place that has specialty tea drinks instead of just fancy coffee.

I made the wrong tea the other day. You wouldn't think that mixing up one Earl Grey for another would be that much of an issue but it was surprisingly irritating. I accidentally made Cream Earl Grey. I wanted Russian. *pout.*
