That's actually very close to the truth. xD I log in daily, check things, don't really have many people to chat here (that I cannot chat elsewhere) and go study or just poke around stuffs.
I've been thinking about searching a RP or a RP board, or restarting to work on one, buuut, I ain't sure I have the time. ^^; Or can find someone to rp with.

Platinum didn't exist when I got D/P! D: My sister and I agreed that for Christmas, she would get Diamond and I would get Pearl and a DS. Unfortunately, I didn't get a DS that year so I didn't get Pearl. My sister ended up getting it for her birthday and had both games. She always needed my help on how to play them though. I got a DS for Christmas the next year, and by then she had lost all interest in Pokemon games so she gave them to me. I've seen how awesome Platinum looks though and I'm sad that I don't have it, though I would rather get White or SoulSilver if I were to buy another game, just because I don't like the Sinnoh games as much.

Both, really. I like to put together teams of Pokemon who have the stats to destroy things but who I can also bear to look at through the whole game. Most of my favorite pokemon happen because they work really well in a particular team, for example, I played through Pearl using only Starmie and Crobat, and in doing so, I got to learn their strengths and weaknesses and really get attached to them. Some of my other favorites, though, I love because they're great standalone pokemon that can take care of almost any situation, like my Porygon-Z.

Gen 3: Absol
Gen 4: Porygon-Z, Togekiss, Lucario
Gen 5: ??? (Mienshao probably, but I'm only halfway through my game so far)

The Gen 5 games are pretty dang awesome. The battles don't look as nice as they used to in my opinion, because the graphical quality got turned down in favor of animation. But the overworld is AMAZING. I have been impressed with every gym so far, and crossing bridges and traveling through other big features is really stunning.
Emulators are for suckers. Most people I know that still play, play on emulators. Of course, I would rather have an emulator than not play at all, but I really like the system-and-cartridge feel. I've got hard copies of Red, Gold, LeafGreen, Diamond, Pearl, HeartGold, and Black. :D
