I was in Temple of Athena when I saw the lovely Medusa being turned to a gorgon. As a woman, she was beautiful, but as a gorgon, her beauty increased a hundredfold! As an admirer, I dashed after the lovely gorgon and followed her to where no mortal had gone for centuries where Perseus would eventually try and slay her. I tried wooing her, her appearance having no effect on me, and then... I exterminated Perseus for trying to slay Medusa, my lady. Athena was outraged by what I had done, so, she turned me beautiful... so I don a mask to keep everyone from turning to sand.
