Feel free to *not* run with the idea of dodging Quiet's swing. I get the impression that Behel is a little more of a hand-to-hand type than Quiet and could even move in with a throw or something rather than attempt to dodge. He something of a brute strength sort?
This reminds me of the story about the bird and the fish.

Winner can be decided later I think. I'll put my post up, since it's mostly reacting to yours. I saw your profile on Behel in the event forum. Quiet might sling the odd spell on occasion. Especially if she takes a hit or two from behel's claws.

And yeah, more feedback is fine before we actually start the main part of the battle, though I'm fine either way. Do you think we should determine ahead of time the outcome of the battle?

Note: Quiet is Alti-Ui, not arco, but I figure it's a fine mistake to make for someone off planet so I ran with it (or was that the idea?)

I;ll think about it. I'll send a profile your way at least, a basic rundown of my character and what she's all about. I can probably work out some argument basis too if that helps. They could just be having a sparing match and chatting, attacks going along with the stuff said back and forth to each other. I'll PM some stuff that I think migth work. Don't need to work out everything right now of course.

Anyway, maybe the argument one or a bout of sparring that leads into an argument? Behemoth's deal is he's an educated but sort of ditzy/vain/bloodthirsty Tangi who's being sponsored by a very wealthy family to do a survey of the technology/customs of other worlds, so he doesn't have much personal stake in the war at all except whatever makes him look good in the end. Plus, he tends to talk without thinking, like, a lot.
Blargh, I only have a few minutes left on the computer tonight (shared computers are no fun) but I could throw up a thread tomorrow morning, unless you want to make it.

No problem. I don't really have a profile worked out for my character but in a nutshell, she's educated and a warrior type (more gung-ho about battle than I originally thought ;)). She's out to free the enslaved arco rather than topple the queen but if that needs to be done then okay. She's all for sparing.
Could be sparing, an argument, two rebels returning to camp in frustrated and bad moods letting off steam?
