it's because some of the adults don't like being in a crowded park as well as not liking the loud booms of the fireworks
I heard that back when we asked my dad about it when I was little
I'm not sure who has the issue or what not but it came more so as a tradition which is what some people see it as now... I had a few people be like rawr don't go to the park you'll miss our family tradition
buuhhhhhhh but dad wanted me to drive on the highway... so he was alright with it I was worried since I had 2 people with me and I wasn't used to the speed, but anyway... not sure how to change it..
oh another reason my family seems to have is dad and mom was in the park once and some of the sparks came down and got on them one year... he lectured me about it but we don't get that close to the area... closest was the children's play area on the far side by the train that is there...
hmm maybe someone could ask around to see why it is we go to Krogers to see them

I understand. They really were not as good... I like them loud, myself. These seemed too soft for me to enjoy. eAe; I can see how that would be a problem! Yeah, the ones on TV were better. For the most part. Nope. I've always assumed that they do not put a lot of effort into them though...

I really do not understand why we have to always watch them there. You could hardly enjoy them at all from the Krogers parking lot... Even if they were lame this year.

yeah my bf sort of grumped all the way to his house, they weren't as good as last year he likes the loud fireworks and lots of them sister was all clingy so it messed it up for me kept having to deal with her and wanting her to quiet down
watched fireworks on the tv after the ones in our area were gone
so do you know the story behind how we get fireworks for the 4th? a few years ago bf emailed the mayor and found out why the fireworks turn out like they do

nods figured everyone would go there... it seems the only place people do go to watch them in the family... it wasn't bad or loud enough at the park for me to even cover my ears this year...

Yeah, we did. What you could see of them. I wasn't exactly happy that we went to Krogers. >A> They do not turn the lights off, there are a bunch of trees, and the hillside... But, regardless, the fireworks weren't as high quality this year. That finally was pitiful! I wonder why. oAo

most of them were pretty low to the ground... unlike some other years
