Okay...Well, when looking at the Bakeneko hair and at the "gradient" hair, I noticed that all the sets were either "poofy" or "covers the eyes" - so not as helpful for mixing with other hairstyles.

So, my input would be to color some short hairstyles and/or long background hair in the style of the Bakaneko hair.
