my cats love theirs too, they rip the whole thing up for the catnip thats inside.

Nope, can't say I do know. I've always done it that way. Gotta keep putting them in there. Get them use to using the litter box then get them use to using a covered/dome litter box. You're also gonna wanna get a scratching post for the kitty so it knows that that is specifically for scratches. :) I spray down my cat's scratching post with catnip scented spray so they rub on it and love on it.

do you know any ways to train a new cat to use the litter box quicker then bringing her down there every time?
